Enrique Olvera is renowned for his sophisticated take on Mexican cuisine, famously served at acclaimed restaurants like Pujol, located in Mexico City. Despite this, Olvera's true love lies in the humble taco, which he deems to be the most "inclusive" of all foods. In Sunny Days, Taco Nights, Olvera delves into the taco's rich history, presenting a wide array of styles, ingredients, accompaniments, and more. This hybrid culinary anthology and cookbook boasts 100 recipes, organized into two parts: Classics, featuring authentic street-style tacos; and Originals, showcasing Olvera's contemporary twists on traditional favorites. Some of the classic recipes include Fish Tacos from northwestern Mexico; Chicharron Tacos from Monterrey; Chorizo Tacos with spinach; and Street Vendor-style Steak Tacos, commonly peddled on tricycles in Mexico City.
