Mr. Boddington is enamored by his friends Yuri and Mike Abelson who founded Postalco. Their mission included creating the perfect notebook and after relocating to Tokyo they achieved that goal with a revered notebook range incorporating exquisite details found in no other line.
Starched, bank green pressed cotton, treated for water-resistance, is bonded to heavy paper covers, steel spiral binding is positioned so that the spine of the notebook can be easily labeled, angled corners are a nice design touch. Whether the notebook is oriented horizontally or vertically, covers extend for comfortable writing to the bottom of the page.
The craft of the Japanese paper maker is evident inside with pages lightly-textured to maximize each stroke of pen or pencil and printed with Postalco's calm-blue 1mm Pin-graph that guides linear writing yet is too fine to be obtrusive. Paper is ecologically made and chlorine free.
