Details

My dear correspondent, imagine a tidy little stack of sunshine delivered straight to your writing desk. Pineider’s Capri Box (24 sheets and envelopes, each tenderly crafted in A5) is precisely that. The paper itself is a dream: plain, watermarked stock of 110 grams, cut with a steady Italian hand and kissed along the edges with a hand-painted border. A slender line of color so fetching it could have been borrowed from the horizon where sky meets sea.

Tucked inside, the envelopes are equally debonair lined with colored tissue like the inner silk of a gentleman’s jacket, hand-painted at the edges to match their companions, and finished with Pineider’s blind embossing, a whisper of heritage pressed ever so lightly into the paper fibers. One feels rather refined merely touching one.

This is stationery for holidays and declarations, for thank-yous, invitations, flirtations, and magnificent announcements. Letters written on Capri paper do not simply arrive, they make an entrance.
