Coincidence

Coincidence is the debut photobook by Jeremy Liebman, a quietly powerful meditation on family, memory, and the meaning of home. Through intimate black-and-white photographs spanning Texas, Brooklyn, and the English countryside, Liebman traces three generations of his family as their lives unfold in parallel. At its heart is a tender dialogue between the photographer’s late father, Richard Liebman, and his young grandchildren — a meeting point between language newly forming and memory slowly fading. The result is a moving reflection on inheritance, time, and the fragile poetry of domestic life.

Jeremy Liebman is a New York–based photographer whose work has appeared in Apartamento, The New Yorker, Interview, and Purple, and has been commissioned by the Met Museum, Apple, and Bottega Veneta.
