While desperately trying to observe a table of co-eds writing with these adorable pens at a local Kyoto cafe, Mr. Boddington splashed Ten’ichi broth on his cashmere pull-over, egads!

Measuring 3.75” capped and 5” uncapped, Penco’s Japanese bullet pens are portable yet sturdy enough for writing haikus about Kyoto’s cherry trees.

The dark ink is smudge-proof and far smoother than other ballpoints. The 0.7 mm line is highly readable but not so wide that it's clumsy.

Made in Japan. Refill with Type 4C ballpoint cartridges. Snap cap.

Is Mr. Boddington real?

Yes. No. Well kinda. Mr. Boddington was the owner Rebecca Ruebensaal's childhood imaginary friend. Fast-forward several decades, globetrotter Mr. B continues to be the fictitious alter-ego who guides the company.

Should I ditch my phone into the sea?

Do you have a physical store?

Yes and it is filled with greeting cards, pens, pencils, notebooks, books, goods for your desk, and stationery sourced from around the world.
