Crafted out of lightweight, machined aluminum, the Point Guard goes over the pointed end of your Blackwing pencil to keep it safe in your bag, pocket, or pencil roll. The tip of your pencil rests inside the smaller portion of the cap to protect your point against unexpected drops or jams.
