You may recall its Parisian and New York cousins—those elegant siblings who first introduced us to the irresistible eye of Dominique Nabokov. Well, after a triumphant return of those editions, we are now positively tickled to bring Berlin back into the spotlight.

Picture Dominique strolling through Berlin with her camera, slipping quietly into homes filled with character, history, and the tiniest hints of delightful domestic mischief. The result? A portrait of the city that is intimate rather than showy, revealing its spirit through sofas, stacks of books, graceful corners, and lived-in charm.

To accompany these interiors, you will find the words of American novelist Darryl Pinckney and ZEIT Magazin editor Christoph Amend—two splendid guides who help us understand the souls behind these rooms.
